This Quebec City 101 Tour with Funicular ride included is filled with fun, surprise, and useful information! Stroll the charming streets of Old Quebec and soak in the historic atmosphere of one of North America’s oldest cities. Visit many of Québec City’s top attractions in the Upper and Lower Town districts, including Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Terrasse Dufferin, Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, Place Royale, Fortifications of Québec, and Quartier Petit Champlain, all enriched with engaging stories. This walking tour is perfect for first-time visitors wanting a full city overview! If the funicular is unavailable, we can arrange a cab ride or provide a ticket to use later, at your discretion. A 15–20% tip for your guide is strongly recommended at the end of the visit. Please note: The 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM departures can be conducted in French, while the 10:30 AM departures can be conducted in Spanish, and the 2:00 PM departure is conducted exclusively in Spanish. Please ensure you select your preferred departure time based on your desired language.

What to Bring
A moderate amount of walking is involved, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Not recommended for travelers with back, heart problems or other serious medical conditions
Meeting & Pickup
Please meet us inside our office (HQ Services Touristiques in the Lower Town at 112 Rue Saint-Paul). It is a yellow building on the corner of Rue Saint-Paul and Rue des Navigateurs near the popular restaurant Buffet de l’Antiquaire, Café Packwood and the marina. We really loved the walking tour and our knowledgeable guide. It could/should have been longer there was so much history to see and hear about. We took the tour the first full day in the city and found it invaluable to help us decide what to focus our time on in our remaining 3 days there. It also helped us orient ourselves to a city that requires navigation skills in old charming cities with unusual street signage. I would definitely use that idea in your tour promotions...

Our guide , Anne, was very knowable about the history and significance of the many sights we viewed. She also provided many antidotes to make the tour extremely interesting.
