Day 2: Sunrise at Angkor Wat & Iconic Temples Exploration Begin your day early to witness the magnificent sunrise over Angkor Wat, where the sun’s golden rays illuminate this world-famous monument. Afterward, return to your hotel for breakfast and a short rest before continuing your temple exploration. Day 3: Angkor Grand Circle & Banteay Srei Temple After breakfast, embark on a journey through the Grand Circle Temples, visiting Preah Khan, a sprawling monastery complex rich with carvings; Neak Pean, a unique island temple built on an artificial lake; Ta Som, famous for its tree-covered eastern gate; and East Mebon, once surrounded by water and guarded by carved elephant statues. Continue to Banteay Samre, a beautifully restored temple displaying classic Khmer architecture. Continue to Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Board a private boat to explore the Floating Village, where you’ll see houses, schools, and markets built on water. Discover floating homes, floating schools, and mangrove forests, all central to life on the lake. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the Rolous Group Temples, the earliest capital of the Khmer Empire, including Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong Temple a magnificent step pyramid symbolizing Mount Meru.
