Your day, step by step
Siem Reap
Photography at Angkor Wat. Day 1: Angkor Wat Sunrise & Full-Day Temple Exploration Early in the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and transfer you to the world-famous temples of the Angkor Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 14 December 1992. Your tour begins at Angkor Wat, where you will witness the most iconic sunrise, as the sun rises directly behind the temple’s towers every day. After sunrise, continue exploring the majestic Angkor Wat complex before returning to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, your tour continues to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, followed by a visit to the remarkable Bayon Temple, located in the heart of the ancient city. From here, enjoy a walk through Angkor Thom to discover its additional major monuments, including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Next, proceed to Ta Nei, a peaceful jungle temple hidden away from the crowds. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the legendary Ta Prohm, famously known as the Tomb Raider Temple, which remains dramatically embraced by massive tree roots. This enchanting temple showcases exactly how many of the Angkor monuments appeared when reclaimed by the forest for more than four centuries. After exploring the site, return to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Sightseeing at Banteay Srei. Day 2: Discover Banteay Srei, Grand Circle Temples & Sunset Experience After breakfast, begin your exploration of some of the most impressive temples within the vast Angkor Archaeological Park, which spans 401 km² and contains more than 250 temples. Today’s visits include the atmospheric Preah Khan, the island sanctuary of Neak Pean, the ancient mountain temple East Mebon, and the beautifully restored Banteay Samre. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to Banteay Srei, widely regarded as the “Crown Jewel of Khmer Art.” Built from pink and rose-hued sandstone, this small but extraordinary temple is famous for its intricate and remarkably well-preserved carvings—some of the finest in all of Cambodia. On your journey back to Siem Reap, stop at a traditional Khmer village to see charming wooden houses and observe how local families produce palm sugar using age-old methods passed down through generations. Your final temple of the day is Pre Rup, a spectacular spot to enjoy sunset, where the warm golden light beautifully illuminates the temple’s brick and laterite towers. After sunset, return to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
