What your day looks like
The Mopan River was a very important source for the ancient city of Xunantunich from around 600 AD To 1000 AD, sustaining a population approximately 7,000 to 10,000 people. You will reimagine much of this history as you float down the river of today.

The journey, in full
This adventure starts at the village of San Jose Succotz, by clipping your helmet, putting on a floatation device, and jumping on a tube to take off down the river. You will relax during the calm sections of the river, and you may get a kick of adrenaline as you approach the class 1 rapids. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled as there are a number of wildlife species that call the river banks home. You are sure to have an incredible time during this adventure!
