The Experience

What your day looks like

This mainland sink hole or cenote is found about 15 miles from the capital city, Belmopan. It is an underground river that surfaces in the middle of the rainforest; within the Maya Mountains on the hummingbird highway. Also, it is a great place for birding or to just relax and swim in the clean and pure water of the river. Come experience the mystery of this cave system that was once occupied thousands of years ago by the Mayas. It certainly is a highly recommended adventure for those with a passion for spelunking.
