What your day looks like
The Cahal Pech Mayan site is located on top of a hill smack in the middle of the twin towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio in western Belize. This site was once considered home to the Elites or Royalties of the Mayas in the region during the classic period of their Civilization. Visiting this site allows you to experience the royal palaces, plazas, and courtyards of this elite community. Visitors will be able to observe the intriguing architecture of the buildings, including the commonly used Corbel Arches.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
From Belize City the drive to Cahal Pech is about 90 minutes. Once we arrive at the site we will enter the museum to get a better look at the outlay of the area, artifacts found at the site, detailed information of the site and other aspects of the Mayan Civilization. We then move over to the site itself. You will be accompanied a well-trained tour guide who will continue to provide more information in relation to what you will be looking at on the site. Total time on the site will be 90 minutes. Bottled water will always be available for you during the tour, and afterward we will head to a local restaurant for lunch. The total time for this tour from Belize City and back is approximately 6 hours.

We can do pick ups from the municipal airport, the international airport and from the water taxi terminal in Belize City, or from the Fort Street Tourism Village if you are coming on the cruise Ship. If you are coming from a different location, We will be able to pick you up anywhere in Belize City.
