On this very interactive program, you will take a 30-minute taxi ride to the Dolphin Facility. Discover Sanctuary Bay: Sanctuary Bay is a natural 9-acre lagoon and home to Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Established in 1987, the Dolphin Experience has been long recognized in the marine mammal field with a focus on education through interaction. Swim with Dolphins: Swim alongside the dolphins, You'll have the opportunity to perform certain behaviors, as well as hug and kiss them. Bird Experience: Explore the bird patio, home to macaws, cockatoos, and African tortoises of all sizes. Animal care staff will be on hand to safely handle the birds while you take some social media-worthy photos. What’s Included: •Fins •Life Jacket (Optional) Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible; you must be able to take a few steps (up/down) a ladder, and walk short distances on uneven terrain. Collapsible wheelchair can be stored. Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum height – 55 in. Moderate swimming abilities. A parent or guardian must participate in the dolphin program with children under 16 years. For safety reasons, pregnant women may not participate on this excursion. Cameras and cell phones are not permitted during the dolphin program. For the safety of the dolphins, please remove jewelry and do not wear tanning oils and excessive amounts of sunscreen. What to Bring: Beach towel and cash or credit /debit card for purchases. Good to Know: This excursion does offer an observer option. Professional photos will be available for purchase. Light snacks and refreshments available for purchase.
