What your day looks like

Take a 30 minute taxi-ride to the Dolphin Facility. Discover Sanctuary Bay: Sanctuary Bay is a natural 9-acre lagoon and home to our Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Established in 1987, it’s been recognized for its focus on education through interaction. Dolphin Encounter: Learn about these dolphins while they splash and jump around you. Then, step onto a submerged platform where you will be able to interact with the dolphin. Your dolphin specialist will educate and entertain you with facts about these amazing creatures, and tell you more about the facility, where they live, and how the dolphins are cared for. Bird Experience: Explore the bird patio, home to macaws, cockatoos, and African tortoises of all sizes. Animal care staff will be on hand to safely handle the birds while you take some social media-worthy photos. NOTES Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible; you must be able to take a few steps (up/down) a ladder and walk short distances. Collapsible wheelchair can be stored. What to Bring: Beach towel and cash or credit /debit card for purchases. Good to Know: This excursion does not offer an observer option. Professional photos will be available for purchase.
