The Experience

What your day looks like

Discover the best of Melbourne before heading to Phillip Island for one of Australia’s most memorable wildlife experiences. This full-day tour brings together city culture, local history, dramatic coastal scenery and upgraded Penguin Parade viewing in one seamless journey. Travel in a relaxed small group of no more than 24 guests as an expert local guide brings Melbourne’s stories to life. Explore the colourful laneways of Hosier Lane, visit the Shrine of Remembrance, and stop at the Melbourne Cricket Ground forecourt. Admire the Gothic architecture of St Patrick’s Cathedral, unwind among the gardens of Fitzroy Gardens, and uncover a lesser-known side of Melbourne’s past at Little Lon Distilling Co. Along the way, enjoy a comfortable drive past many of Melbourne’s most recognisable landmarks, with engaging commentary that reveals the city’s history, character and hidden details. In the afternoon, journey south to Phillip Island and experience the rugged coastline at The Nobbies. Take a stroll along the boardwalks, enjoy sweeping views across Bass Strait and look out for local wildlife along the dramatic coastal landscape. As evening approaches, arrive at the world-famous Penguin Parade. Your tour includes entry to the Penguins Plus grandstand, offering an enhanced, closer viewing perspective as little penguins emerge from the sea at sunset and make their way across the beach towards their burrows. Return to Melbourne later in the evening with unforgettable memories of Melbourne’s iconic sights, Phillip Island’s wild coastline and one of Australia’s most loved wildlife encounters.
