The Experience

What your day looks like

Depart Melbourne late morning and journey toward Phillip Island, where wildlife, coastal scenery, and unforgettable moments come together. This experience is designed to feel relaxed, immersive, and easy to enjoy. With a maximum of 24 guests, travel in comfort alongside an expert local guide who brings the region to life through stories and local insight. Begin with a visit to the iconic Brighton Beach Boxes, where colourful bathing boxes line the shore, creating one of Melbourne’s most photographed coastal scenes. Continue to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you’ll have time to explore and encounter native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, and koalas in a natural bushland setting. As the journey continues, take in the rugged coastal beauty of The Nobbies, where boardwalks offer sweeping ocean views across Bass Strait and dramatic cliffside scenery. As evening approaches, arrive at the world-famous Penguin Parade. At sunset, watch as hundreds of little penguins emerge from the sea and waddle across the beach to their burrows. This natural spectacle is both heartwarming and unforgettable, offering a rare glimpse into wildlife in its natural habitat. Return to Melbourne later in the evening, reflecting on a day filled with wildlife encounters, coastal views, and one of Australia’s most iconic experiences.

It's a long day, but feeding wallabies and kangaroos and seeing the penguins are definitely worth it! The upgrade is a must if you want to get a good view of the penguins as they come in from the ocean.

Great time. However, the number of people completely disregarding taking pictures and video is alarming. Either don’t allow or allow it. We abided by the rule and left our phones in the tour bus but then saw most people with their phones being told multiple times to stop. Didn’t work.

My delighted passengers sent a selfie with your guide who they thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this trip -- so much better than they expected. Thanks so much. Marilyn

Wonderful trip. Do not miss this and Jai is an excellent guide. It was the best day. Each stop was so well planned and an experience to visit. Jai did an excellent job guiding us and explaining the history and details of everything we saw. Loved the entire day- especially the sanctuary and the penguins.
