The Experience

What your day looks like

Depart Melbourne in the morning and journey east toward the alpine landscapes of Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, where snow-covered scenery and fresh mountain air await. This experience is designed to feel comfortable, relaxed, and fun for all ages. With a maximum of 24 guests, travel in comfort alongside an expert local guide who brings the journey to life with stories and local insight. Arrive at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort and enjoy approximately three hours of free time to experience the snow your way. Build snowmen, glide down toboggan slopes, or simply wander among the picturesque snow gums and take in the alpine atmosphere. As you leave the snowfields behind, travel through the scenic Black Spur and stop at Steavenson Falls, one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls. Take a short walk to the base and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air. To finish the day, visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, where you can browse handcrafted treats and relax with a well-earned hot chocolate or sweet indulgence (at your own expense).
