What your day looks like
This morning our experienced driver will collect and check you in with our Kuranda Trip Guide. This includes a detailed itinerary with timings, as well as your Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail tickets, allowing you to proceed straight to the boarding area. At your allocated time, board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for an unforgettable journey over and through the world’s oldest continually surviving tropical rainforest. There are two stops along the way to disembark and explore. Once you arrive in Kuranda there is plenty of free time to explore Kuranda Village which offers wonderful Markets, Wildlife Attractons: Birdworld, Koala Gardens and the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (visit at own expense) and many cafes, restaurants or food stalls where you can purchase a treat, snack or meal. Make your way to Kuranda Station to board the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail for one of the most unique rail journeys in Australia. Sit back and relax as this famous railway winds its way from Kuranda to Freshwater Station, passing spectacular waterfalls and into the beautiful Barron Gorge. Once you arrive at Freshwater Station, please board our coach for your return transfer. The written itinerary is available in six languages.
