Embark on an unforgettable Great Barrier Reef Day trip from Cairns with Divers Den. Journey to the outer Great Barrier Reef, an approximately 90-minute boat ride from Cairns, where you'll spend up to five hours at the reef. Expertly selected from our exclusive moorings on Norman, Saxon, and Hastings Reefs, often featuring colourful corals, playful clownfish, turtles, stingrays, and majestic Maori Wrasse. Step aboard AquaQuest, our state-of-the-art vessel purpose-built for diving and snorkelling. Its spacious dive deck and sunken platform ensure easy water access, while modern equipment guarantees a safe and enjoyable experience. Relax on spacious sun decks, cool off in air-conditioned indoor areas, and freshen up with hot showers. Refuel after your morning reef explorations with a generous buffet lunch, featuring a selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh salads, rolls, and tropical fruits.

8am: Check in at Cairns Marlin Marina and board the boat 8.30am: Depart Cairns and receive safety briefings as we travel to the outer reef 10am: Arrive at first snorkel and dive site 12.45pm: Move to second site and enjoy lunch 1.30pm: Continue diving and snorkelling 3pm: Depart reef site 4.30pm: Arrive back in Cairns

What to know before booking
Not Included
Due to ongoing fluctuations in fuel and operational costs, we reserve the right to apply a fuel surcharge prior to travel. This will be charged via an email payment link at a rate of $10 per person, per trip.
Restrictions
You must be aged 18 or over to travel unaccompanied on our day or overnight trips. Anyone younger than this must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please note snorkelling is not suitable for children under 4 years old. All introductory and certified scuba participants must meet medical questionnaire requirements, and some conditions or medications may prevent you from diving. Introductory diving: 12 years or over. Certified Divers must bring their certification card

Overall it was a great experience. For intro to scuba it really was a mix on the instructors. Zeb was incredible and really made our times, some of the others were a bit short with us at times though. Photographer was great and photos were very reasonably priced. Majority of the crew was great
