Begin your day at Eureka Stockade Memorial Park, where you’ll learn about the historic Eureka Rebellion while enjoying a peaceful morning tea. Continue into the Grampians and take a gentle walk to Silverband Falls, following a scenic forest track to a tranquil waterfall surrounded by native bushland. Pause for lunch in the township of Halls Gap (own expense), nestled in the heart of the ranges. In the afternoon, explore the striking rock formations of the Grampians Grand Canyon, where narrow pathways and rugged cliffs showcase the region’s ancient landscape. Take in sweeping panoramic views from Reeds Lookout and Boroka Lookout, offering breathtaking perspectives across valleys, ranges, and open plains. To finish your day, stop at a location known for wildlife sightings, where you may encounter native kangaroos in their natural habitat. Return to Melbourne in the evening, reflecting on a day filled with natural beauty, wildlife, and unforgettable landscapes.

7:00 - 8:00 Depart from Melbourne pick up locations Eureka Stockade Memorial Park Learn about the rich and significant events of the Eureka Rebellion as you take in the peaceful surroundings of this historic site while enjoying morning tea. Silverband Falls Begin your adventure with a relaxing 700-metre walk from Silverband Carpark through a lush, ferny forest. The track is unsealed but flat and easy, leading you to the serene base of Silverband Falls, where you can enjoy the tranquil setting. Lunch Break at Halls Gap (at your own expense) Grand Canyon Carved out of ancient sandstone, this mini-canyon showcases rugged rock formations, steep cliffs, and narrow pathways that make it an exciting spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts. Reeds Lookout From this famous viewpoint you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Victoria Valley, Victoria Range, Serra Range, Lake Wartook, and the Mt Difficult Range. Boroka Lookout Boroka Lookout offers breathtaking panoramic views over Halls Gap and the eastern Grampians. Kangaroo viewing Make a stop at a location where we can reliably view large numbers of native kangaroos. It’s the perfect way to end a day filled with nature and history. Due to the nature of the tour, we do not advise taking children under the age of 13. Please be aware that our vehicles do not have storage space for prams, strollers, luggage, wheelchairs or mobility aides. All items must be kept in a small bag which can be carried on your lap throughout the day.
Meeting & Pickup
Pickup is available from selected hotels only between 7 am and 8 am, depending on which hotel you choose upon checkout. Drop-off is between 8 pm and 9 pm. Pickup available from City Hotels – starts from 7 am and 8 am. Drop off: Return to hotels approx. 8 pm and 9 pm.
