What your day looks like
A truly unique food and wine journey through the eternally stunning Adelaide Hills wine region. Over the course of the day, you’ll taste from artisanal producers of all sorts across the Hills. Experience the best wines produced across this cool-climate region, from outstanding Sparkling, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, to those from small-batch natural winemakers. Start the day with a flight of premium sparkling wines from arguably Australia’s finest sparkling producer at Deviation Rd. Next, it’s Chardonnay and friends at the Hills’ pioneering Tapanappa vineyard, planted in the 1970’s by Brian Croser. Next it's the Hills' flagship winery, Shaw + Smith, who are known for producing spectacular Pinot & Chardonnay wines from across the Hills region. Lunch is a relaxed affair at one of the Hills hidden gems - the Stanley Bridge Tavern. Owned and operated by one of Adelaide's leading wine-celebs, the food and wine offering here is a cut above the rest. After lunch we will have figured out your preferences and booked in a third boutique winery visit. No need to stress, walk-in's around South Australia are the norm. With the itinerary able to be customized, let us know your preferences in wine or preferred destinations and we’ll make it work – the day is all about your enjoyment!

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
Start your tour with pick up in Adelaide or Hills accommodations, travelling in our top model Mercedes Benz vehicles. Your first stop of the day is Deviation Rd winery, where you'll try a flight of sparkling wines. These are some of the most highly regarded sparkling wines in Australia - a great way to kick off the day. Your next stop is at the HIlls most famous winery Shaw + Smith. With crowd-pleasing Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay on the menu, they also source Pinot Noir and Syrah from select vineyards across the region. Next you'll stop in at one of the HIlls regions best hidden-gem gastro-pubs for a hearty feed. Pair in a couple glasses of local wine or beer and you've got the perfect relaxed lunch. After lunch we'll whisk you down to Hahndorf to stroll this historic township and walk off some of those calories from lunch. Full of hand-crafted artisanal wares, the scenic Hahndorf strip is a great spot to while away an hour or so getting lost in the cosy vibe. With one more winery stop to round out the day, we'll choose from our long list of local producers and take you to a winery suited perfectly to your tastes. After a full day of wine touring we'll have you back at your accommodation for around 5pm.
