Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

After hotel pick ups, you will get to the complex and go through a souvenir shop to the historic setting of the Jesuit Missions, where you can watch a memorial projection on the trailhead Cabeza de Vaca. Afterwards you can visit the Brazilian Landmark of Three Frontiers, where the Foz do Iguau River and the Paran River meet. The landmark is painted blue, yellow and green, the colors of the Brazilian flag. You will be standing at the border with Paraguay and Argentina. You will learn about the Paraguay War, where Paraguay faced Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. There you will understand the strategic reasons as to why Paraguay invaded Brazil and about the long-lasting impact of the outcome of the war. It gives you a different perspective into the frontier itself. After this historical tour, you can have a delicious dinner at Cabeza de Vaca Restaurant. You can choose from a variety of Pastas, Fishes, Beef and Salads. Entries and Desserts are also included.

What to Bring

Entrance ticket of the Landmark to be paid locally costs R$19,30 at the moment – approximately 7USD. Children up to 11 years pay half price. If you are being picked up in Puerto Iguazu to cross to Brazil, you will need to pay a fee of $20,00 pesos for for an Eco touristic tax in Puerto Iguazu. Please make sure to keep your receipt in order to avoid being charged twice.

A current valid passport is required on the day of travel You MUST confirm and obtain any visa requirements prior to border crossing. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

Meeting & Pickup

Roundtrip transfers included to most hotels in Iguassu Falls – Brazilian Side and some in Puerto Iguazu.
