Iguassu Falls - Macuco Safari Speed Boat + Jungle Jeep Adventure

Ecological trails, canyons, wild animals and a spectacular view of Iguassu Falls are some of the things youll encounter during this unforgettable excursion through the Iguassu National Park. The adventure begins at the entrance to the Macuco Safari, located 25 kilometer down Cataratas Highway inside Iguassu National Park. You will board an open jeep which gives a great view of the scenery along the trails. You travel three kilometers through the jungle, where your multi-lingual guides will point out examples of the flora and fauna of the Park such as Orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenarian trees, and even wild animals that occasionally cross the trail. Next, you do a 600 meter hike along trail to the "Macuco Falls" waterfall. Here you can have a swim in the water. The last stop is the Macuco Boating Safari departing from the Brazilian side of the Iguassu River. In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats await us. You will receive life-vests and plastic containers in which to protect photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels up-river passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed allowing for scenic viewing. You will see rocks, animals and ample amounts of greenery along the river. At the falls you will enjoy a waterfall shower next to the "Great Horsehoe" knows as the "Devils Throat".
