This day trip from Salta ensures that you see the best of the region in just one day. Admire Purmamarca's Hill of Seven Colors and the spectacular colors of the Paleta del Pintor (Painter's Palette), then board a sturdy 4x4 vehicle for an off-road ride to the Serranías del Hornocal (Hill of 14 Colors).

The journey, in full
Once you arrive in Uquía, you will transfer to a 4x4 vehicle where you will begin the journey to Hornocal to enjoy those magnificent panoramic views. On the way back, you will make a 20-minute stop in Humahuaca. It is recommended to bring a lunch or something light for lunch since there is no time to stop at a restaurant in Humahuaca. Return to Salta. Distance: 516 km. Duration: 13 hours. Departure time: 07.00 - 7.35 am
