Day 1

Salta

Sightseeing. Welcome to Argentina! Welcome to Salta, La linda! Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel and in the afternoon, we will show you around this beautiful city.

City/Town Tour at Cathedral of Salta. This Half day Tour in the city of Salta and its surroundings is ideal if you visit us for the first time. In four hours you will be able to appreciate some of our history and architectural patrimony. You will visit, among others, the heart of the city where the main square, Salta Cathedral and Cabildo tells a little bit of our past. Churchs as San Francisco and San Bernardo convent are considered architectural jewels as historic monuments like General Güemes, our famous soldier. San Bernardo hill is perfect to appreciate the city from another perspective as San Lorenzo Village and its charm. By the end of the tour you will visit The Artisan Market (old flour mill), an important concentration of typical handicraft of the province.

Day 2

Salta

Sightseeing at Devil's Throat. Excursion to Cafayate Be amazed by the gigantic natural beauties of this zone of Argentina. Surrounded by millions of years old rocks, the scenery is unique.. a location full of different attractions, such as Devil´s throat or the amphitheater, all throughout the "Quebrada de Las Conchas", the diversity of locations are mindblowing... The journey starts in Salta city to the south through the fertile Lerma Valley along the National Route 68. Passing by several villages such as Cerrillos, La Merced and El Carril (all allocated to agricultural and livestock activities), we reach the solitary town of Alemania. After an 83 kilometers drive journey we get to Las Conchas Gorge which immediately precedes the Calchaqui Valley. The Wind and rain erosion through millions years are responsible of capricious formations as the Devil´s Throat, the Amphitheater (a formation with excellent acoustics), El Sapo (The Frog) and El Fraile (The Friar) among others.

Day 3

Salta

Local Flavor. The Villages This tour takes us from Salta through Jujuy Province, to travel and explore the lovely countryside and villages which cover nearly 10,000 years of history. From south to north, the Quebrada de Humahuaca is born in Volcano, where the mountains abruptly drop the green hills and give way to brownish colors.

Sightseeing at Quebrada de Humahuaca. Gorge We will visit Humahuaca Gorge, a Natural and Cultural Heritage of Humanity (UNESCO) since 2003. Along the journey we will discover changing landscapes, vegetation and climate due the altitude, passing by from tall trees in Jujuy to solitary cardones by the hillsides. Unique villages as Purmamarca with its famous Hill of Seven Colors, visible from the streets and the handcrafted market around the main square.
