2 Day - Horseback Riding Trekk Through The Andes Mountains
What your day looks like
As we begin our journey through the Andes. we will head southwest toward the town of Tupungato, to drive among the vineyards fields in the Uco Valley. The vines reach the slopes of the mountain range and their green contrasts with the white of the snowy mountains. The route offers superb views of the highest mountain, ‘El Plata’, and the imposing Tupungato volcano. After about 140 km we will arrive at El Manzano Histórico, a small village located at the foot of the mountain range and core of the Natural Reserve of the same name. This is one of the main tourist attractions of the area where we will start our journey on horseback from here. In El Manzano, authentic gauchos will be waiting for us. We will be fitted to our horses and then we will begin our ride. Trotting along on horseback we will explore the deep valleys and towering mountains of the Andes. We will enter the deep glacial valley of Arenales, guarded by the imposing orange granite walls and the sharp needles. Always with the snowy mountains in front, we will reach in the afternoon the glacial lake where we will spend the night under the stars in tents.
