Reefers at Sea, Ocean Views & Time to Recharge

This is the first cruise we are putting together especially for the reefing community—a relaxed four-day, three-night Bahamas getaway for reef enthusiasts at every level, from beginners setting up their first tank to some of the most experienced reefers in the hobby.

The idea is simple: bring together people who already share a passion for reef tanks, corals and marine life, then give everyone the opportunity to relax, have fun, exchange experiences and make new friends outside of the usual trade-show environment.

Bring the entire family. Reefers at Sea is also open to friends and guests who may not be involved in the hobby but do not mind spending a few days around us reef junkies. Wonder of the Seas offers something for everyone, so family members can enjoy the ship and the Bahamas while the reefers connect over the hobby we love.

We will leave from sunny Miami, making this a double vacation for anyone traveling from out of town. Arrive early and enjoy South Florida before boarding Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas for a long weekend at sea.

During the cruise, we will visit Nassau, where you can explore the island, enjoy the beaches, go snorkeling or diving, or simply relax and take in the Bahamas. We will also enjoy a Perfect Day at CocoCay, along with incredible dining, entertainment and everything the ship has to offer.

On Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., we will have a casual reefers meetup lasting approximately one to one-and-a-half hours. This will be an opportunity to meet fellow hobbyists you may not have known before, talk tanks and corals, exchange ideas and spend some time with Alex from Perfect Corals.

Alex will also be available to answer questions about dosing, water chemistry and maintaining the balance needed to sustain life in a healthy reef aquarium. Whether you are learning the basics or managing a mature reef system, everyone is welcome to join the conversation.

The rest of the weekend is yours. There are no booths, no sales agenda and no packed conference schedule—just good people, ocean views, island adventures and time to recharge.

We will also celebrate the Fourth of July together aboard the ship, making it an even more memorable weekend for reefers, families and friends.
