What your day looks like
The cultural village tour is an eye-opening educational and inspiring tour. The village is a royal village which was founded around the 13th century. It has a population of 7,000 Leya-speaking people. You will be picked up from your respective lodge or hotel in an air condition vehicle to the village center, where you be received by a village guide who will take you around the village. Many tourists only see the village life from their vehicle windows, but the chief has invited visitors into his village to get a glimpse of how his people have lived for generations and to learn a little about their traditional customs and beliefs. The village guide takes you around the village, shows you their huts, and explains how they are built and decorated. And the village people are more than happy to open their doors giving you a chance to experience their day-to-day life and you will be introduced to various craftsmen and women at work and taste their traditional food and beer.
