Prepare yourself for an intergalactic adventure! Since 2005 production of the Doctor Who TV series has been based in Cardiff, the capital of Wales. With its diverse architecture and landscapes, Cardiff and South Wales has been a vital component in creating the amazing worlds that the famous Time Lord inhabits. The Doctor Who Cardiff tour we offer is a great way to experience the Welsh capital and its neighbouring regions, as you visit areas of Cardiff such as the Bay, National Museum of History and Llandaff where some of the most memorable Doctor Who locations are situated. You will get a chance to wander through Amy Pond’s village featured in the first episode starring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, visit Farringham village, the hospital featured in New Earth, as well as explore locations from more recent episodes with Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor. Accompanied by your own driver plus a knowledgeable Doctor Who guide you will be able to see these locations easily and learn about both Doctor Who as well as Cardiff history. On our tours you’ll learn how the show is made, get trivia about some of the stars from the show and have the chance to get out of the vehicle on several occasions, stretch your legs, take pictures and see the locations up-close.

All tours include walking around the city centre and Cardiff Bay to see where many of the filming locations can be found. The tour will finish back in central Cardiff.

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing as the tour goes ahead rain or shine
Restrictions
If you are planning on bringing a child under the age of three years old with you, please note that you have to provide a baby seat / booster seat for them. Any parent / guardian arriving for a tour without a baby seat / booster seat for their under three year old will not be allowed to travel in the vehicle. All children over three years old have to wear the seat belts provided in the vehicle.
