Hoa Lu is renowned as once the ancient capital featuring the royal palace grounds of the Le and Dinh dynasties in the 10th century. Tam Coc, which means three caves in Vietnamese, is well-known for its spectacular canals, karstic rock formations, rice fields stretching along the Ngo Dong River, and the limestone grottoes that would take your breath away. 7:30 – 8:00: Pick up guests in hotels from Hanoi Old Quarter 10:10: Arrive at Hoa Lu ancient capital 10:20: Visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Dai Co Viet in 10th and 11th centuries 11:15: Visit Mua Cave and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic mountainous view 12:30: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese set menu lunch at the local Bungalow 13:40: Enjoy a sampan boat trip in Tam Coc, passing through three caves: Hang Ca- First cave, Hang Hai – the second cave, and Hang Ba- third Cave. 15:10: Cycle through the rice fields and villages to visit Thai Vi Temple 16:00: Enjoy sunset party with tea and fruits free at the swimming pool: relaxing, swimming 16:45: Leave Tam Coc for Hanoi. 19:00: The tour ends in Hanoi

Our guide Peter was very knowledgeable. He contacted us the day before the confirm hotel pick up & guided us though getting our bikes, riding to the Hoa Lu historical temple then around the paved path back to the bus. We had a nice buffet lunch. Then helped us into the boats to ride along the Tam Coc area, under a cave arch along the river. Then returned us safely to our hotel.
