This immersive two-day journey takes you from Ho Chi Minh City to the peaceful waterways of the Mekong Delta. On day one, explore My Tho and Ben Tre with a boat ride along the Mekong River, visits to coconut workshops, tropical fruit tastings, and a relaxing village walk. Enjoy a local lunch and an overnight stay in Can Tho. On day two, visit the vibrant Cai Răng Floating Market, explore a local noodle workshop and fruit gardens, then return to Ho Chi Minh City filled with unforgettable cultural experiences.

Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
Welcome to Vietnam! 8:00 to 8:30 AM Our tour guide will welcome you at our office: 203 De Tham, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, or at your hotel in District 1 before heading to My Tho city by bus. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one and a half hour bus ride.

Local Flavor at Vinh Trang Temple. Vinh Trang Pagoda: Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta.

Boating at Mekong River. Mekong River: Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat takes you to a small canal, escaping the hustle and bustle of the town.

Local Flavor. Ben Tre: We disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste the honey tea and honey wine, and listen to Vietnamese traditional music performed by the villagers. Check out the coconut candy shop and learn how to make candy, and see handicrafts made from the coconuts. Take your time snapping photos and enjoy the natural scenery before we head to the local restaurant.

Local Flavor at Cai Rang Floating Market. Cai Răng Floating Market: After, proceed to visit the Cai Răng floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole region. Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals.

Leisure. Leisure time: Next, you will roam through the village, see fruit gardens and a rice noodles making shop.
