What travelers are saying
A lovely informative tour and lots of information about life in Uzbekistan in general. We visited a market and tried some foods, bought a nice Uzbekh white wine for the meal and cooked plov and baked bread outside. It was raining but not a big deal as it was under cover. I could have stayed all day ! I just felt bad that I could only eat a fraction of the huge amount of food on offer. I would also recommend bringing some small gifts for the little boy and girl who have to put up with tourists coming to their home all the time. They're very sweet kids, as is the grandfather and of course the guide too. Highly recommended and I feel confident enough to be able to make a good plov myself !
