What your day looks like

When you arrive at the Wynwood Graffiti Experience, we will have a large canvas panel set up and a table full of spray paint. Masks and gloves will be on hand for personal protection. Although we rarely have issues with ruining clothes, it is best to come in something comfortable that you won’t mind having a few paint dots on. We will take you step by step through the basics of using spray paint. We start with the very basics: how to hold, angle, and handle the spray can and manipulate the pressure and length of the spray to paint dots of different sizes, and lines of different widths, and to write letters. Then we move on to more complex skills, like creating a drop shadow, making backgrounds and patterns, and doing a color gradient. After going through the skills of the lesson part of the Wynwood graffiti experience, you will have time to experiment on your own and compose an artwork of your design. Our facilitator will be there to give guidance and tips, and to answer questions while working alongside you.
