What your day looks like
Spend six unforgettable hours exploring the most wildlife-rich waters of Oahu. The island’s leeward side features rugged cliffs, pristine beaches, and sweeping mountain views — an ever-changing backdrop to some of Hawaii’s most iconic marine life. Summer’s calmer weather often allows access to remote offshore zones, including seamounts and nutrient-rich upwellings, where elusive open-ocean species feed. Expect everything from plankton blooms and bait balls to apex predators. Nearshore conditions offer excellent visibility for underwater photography of green sea turtles, vibrant reef fish, and healthy coral gardens.

Prepare for jaw-dropping moments. These aren’t staged photo ops—they’re wild, unscripted interactions shaped by seasonal migrations and natural behavior: Swim alongside dolphins, riding the echo of their energy as they loop through the bow waves or jump the wakes. Drift snorkel beside sea turtles, at a turtle cleaning station that David Attenborough would be proud of. Year-Round Whale Watching on Oahu – In the winter months, be awestruck by the spray and song of humpback whales breaching in the distance.

- Swimsuit (wear under your clothes for an easy start) - Towel for drying off after snorkeling - Reef-safe sunscreen (mineral-based, no oxybenzone or octinoxate) - Sun protection: hat, sunglasses with a strap, rashguard or UV shirt - Reusable water bottle (filtered water is provided onboard) - Light jacket or windbreaker (it can get breezy out at sea) - Motion sickness remedy (if you’re prone—take it in advance!) - Waterproof camera or GoPro (optional, but great for memories) - Dry bag or Ziploc for phones or valuables (optional) - Cash tip for the crew (always appreciated for excellent service)
