After instruction and some practice time, your experienced tour guide will lead you along Kipu Ranch for an exciting journey through the diverse landscape and history that makes this one of the top Hawaii eco-tours in the state. We provide well maintained premium Kawasaki off-road vehicles, helmets, goggles, bandanas and water. Closed-toe shoes are required. Diverse Landscape – More challenging trails, elevation changes (sea level to 800 feet in elevation). Signature Tour – Classic Stop-N-Go Tour, less downtime, cover more ground to get to scenic stop locations. Kipu Kai – Top of the ridge overlooking landlocked Kipu Kai Beach, the only way to see it by land is on our tour! Vehicle Options: TERYX4 (Seats 2-4) Our core fleet vehicle provides power steering, full back support seats, premium suspension, superior stylish cabin, seatbelts, latch doors, and full roll bar, rear elevated seating for clear viewing from any location in the vehicle.

Gratuity is not included in the tour prices. However, it is customary and much appreciated to tip your tour guides.
What to Bring
Bring a credit card to place on file until the vehicle is returned. Guests may get dusty or muddy depending on weather conditions. We recommend guests wear dark clothing or clothing they don’t mind getting stained by Kauai’s red dirt. Clothing (top and bottom) is required to participate in the tour. We recommend a long sleeve top and long pants (optional) in place of using bug spray. If using bug spray, we recommend using an all natural locally made product. An all natural Kauaʻi made bug spray is available for purchase at check-in. We encourage guests to bring a reusable water bottle. A water refill station is available at check-in. All vehicles are equipped with standard sized cup holders. Highly recommend extra change of clothes, reef-safe sunscreen, and a towel. Cameras and/or phones are welcome on tour. We recommend protecting your equipment with a case or cover to reduce dust, mud, and water exposure. Valuable items not recommended on tour. Tour operator will not be held responsible if lost, stolen or damaged personal items. No personal storage available on site.
Restrictions
We are in a ʻNo-Droneʻ zone. Please do not attempt to bring drone equipment on tour. All guests under 18 must have a legal guardian sign for them. Age Restrictions apply: Ages 9+ are welcome to participate. All drivers MUST be at least 18 years of age to operate machines and MUST provide a valid Driver’s License. No recent surgeries, pregnant individuals, or any serious health conditions allowed on tours. Serious neck/back/knee problems not recommended. Drug and alcohol use is not permitted before or during tours. Impaired participation is not allowed for your safety.
Meeting & Pickup
Meet us at our ranch: 235 Kipu Road, Lihue, HI 96766 - directions to follow after booking. We are located approximately 7 miles (20 minutes) from the Lihue Airport. From the North (Princeville) & East (Kapaa & Wailua) Shores: Head SOUTH on Hwy. 56 into the town of Lihue, here Hwy. 56 runs into Hwy. 50. Follow Hwy. 50 thru the town of Puhi. Turn LEFT at the 3 mile marker (KIPU sign). Go ¼ mile and take the first RIGHT (KIPU road, also NO OUTLET sign), cross over small bridge, and follow to the top. Take a RIGHT at our sign and pull into the first driveway. DO NOT go past the pine trees or monument. From the South (Poipu or Koloa) & West (Waimea) Shores: Head EAST towards the town of Lihue on Hwy. 50. Turn RIGHT after the Kauai Humane Society (Animal Shelter) on the “LIHUE ALTERNATE” road. Go ¼ mile and take the first RIGHT (KIPU road, also NO OUTLET sign), cross over small bridge, and follow to the top. Take a RIGHT at our sign and pull into the first driveway. DO NOT go past the pine trees or monument.

If you are booking a party of 3+, please advise your desired # of vehicles you would like. Additional vehicles are subject to availability. A minimum of 2 persons per vehicle. If no notations are made, we will fill each vehicle with the max # of occupants.

Cousin Giggles and Cousin David were fantastic guides. So knowledgeable about the ranch and island as a whole. The tour of the ranch was beautiful with spectacular views and a super fun trail to drive the vehicles on. We got so dirty and absolutely loved every minute of it!
