Detailed Itinerary

The journey, in full

Movie Site and Ranch Tour: Experience our familiar Ka’a’awa Valley, known as Hollywood’s “Hawaii Backlot,” to see where over 50 of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster movies and TV shows were filmed, including even some of the 1950’s Elvis classics right up to the new Netflix “Finding ‘Ohana” blockbuster! Hop aboard a vintage school bus and take a photo of yourself at the infamous Jurassic Park fallen tree, see where the Finding ‘Ohana scavenger hunt was shot, the boneyard from Kong Skull Island, the bunkers from both Jurassic World’s, the Jumanji camp, the ATV hill from Mike & Dave, check out Godzilla’s massive footprints, and visit several other locations including the famous gate site from 50 First Dates, Jungle Expedition Tour: Jump on board for an adventurous and rugged Jungle Jeep tour deep into our beautiful Hakipu`u Jurassic rainforest. This lush and tropical valley is where many of the Jurassic World, Kong Skull Island, and Jumanji scenes were filmed. Guests board one of our custom-built, 16 passenger jungle vehicles for a 90-minute tour that rumbles through our Hawaiian rainforest along jungle trails, across isolated stream beds, and powers up steep, bumpy hills. On this tour, you will also see a few famous movie site locations and sets (from Jurassic World) and a few other surprises! On the tour, guests experience secluded spots that overlook Oahu’s eastern coastline and see Moli’i Pond, our 800-year-old ancient Hawaiian fishpond, which is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places. You will also get a glimpse of some of the areas used to shoot the new Ben Affleck movie! Aloha Aina Tour Our Aloha Aina Tour allows guests to see the beauty and tranquility of one of Oahu’s most well-preserved ancient Hawaiian fishponds (Moli’i), which is carbon-dated at between 800 and 1,000 years old. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, you’ll get to learn about early Hawaiian aquaculture practices and how fish was farmed in this 153-acre actively farmed fishpond, still standing with much of the original stonewall infrastructure in place. Guests will travel on a Trolley to explore the tropical fruit and flower gardens of Moli’i along the shores fronting our “Secret Island.” Admire the accomplishments of the early Hawaiians as the rich stories of the voyaging canoe and ancient fishpond unfold. **The only difference between the packages will be the ordering of tours throughout the day. They all offer the same 3 Tours (Hollywood Movie Site, Jungle Jeep Expedition & Aloha Aina). Ocean Voyage Tour can be a substitution for Jungle Expedition Tour if the guests are either pregnant or an infant.

We loved our all day tour package! Each tour guide was unique but they all were so knowledgeable and made it even more fun! The views were breathtaking (I literally teared up a couple times!) and it was one of my favorite days of our trip! Lunch was really good and I always love having the option for some POG juice! Would highly recommend Kualoa Ranch for anyone visiting!

Tour guides along the day were all very good and entertaining. The best part of the experience was the jungle tour. Hope we get a chance to come back and try the ATVs and horseback riding. Great place with amazing views to spend a day while out on the island. Thank you!
