The journey, in full
9:00am: Meet your guide in Telfair Square, learn about Mary Telfair and the Telfair Museum 9:15am: Arrive at Ellis Square, learn the history of Savannah's City Market and it's destruction 9:45am: Johnson Square, Savannah's slave market, the Nathanael Greene monument 10:05am: Wright Square, Gordon monument, Tomochichi's Rock 10:15/10:30am: Take a break at (usually) Gallery Espresso. Use the restroom, get a beverage and/or a snack 10:50am: Chippewa Square to learn about James Oglethorpe and Georgia's founding 11:05am: Madison Square. Sorrel-Weed House, Green-Meldrim House and the Civil War, Jasper monument and Savannah in the Revolution Arrive at Monterey Square a little before noon and learn about Casimir Pulaski and the Pulaski monument. End in Monterey Square at 12pm, on the south end of the Historic District and just a block down from Forsyth Park.
