On the walk, you'll learn about the Gold Rush Era and the ghosts it left behind. Discover the story of the Great Earthquake that brought the city to its knees and the spirits it left behind. On the tour, we will walk through the historic Nob Hill area and stop by its most haunted spots. You'll learn how the wealthy came to settle here and who never left. We will stop on the stairs of the Grace Cathedral and hear the story of its most infamous priest, who is said to still haunt the church and the stairs, welcoming his flock. We will stop outside the Fairmont and hear the stories of the spirits that walk its halls, including the soldiers, the sisters, and the prostitute. Also known as the Cameron House, you'll hear the story of how women were trafficked from China and held in slavery, and the woman who freed over 3000 women. And her ghost that never rests. We will stop at the entrance and hear the tale of the woman who still haunts this alley, and you might just smell her perfume. We will walk up the historic Grant Street, formerly part of the Barbary Coast and also once known as Dupont Street, and hear its ghostly stories. We will walk through the first and oldest Chinatown in the USA, discover how it was settled during the gold rush era, and hear the tales of the ghosts that lurk here. The tour ends here at the mighty Dragon Gate. You'll see the old sign that has hung on the church for well over a century warning sinners to change their ways.
