The Ghosts of Charleston Small Group Tour
What your day looks like
The highlight of The Ghosts of Charleston Tour is entering the lush, spellbinding Unitarian Church Graveyard built-in 1772. Real-time hauntings occur only a handful of times a year. However, since 1996, when we started what is now Charleston's oldest ghost tour, spirits in the Unitarian Church Graveyard have reached out to many people on our tour in visual, tactile, and auditory ways. During our 80-minute walking ghost tour, our City of Charleston licensed tour guides recount hauntings and supernatural events from our best-selling book, The Ghosts of Charleston. No other tour company in Charleston has attracted more media attention than us since 1996, the year we started our business. Among the national media publications who have written articles and recommended us are The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Southern Living, National Geographic Traveler, Travel and Leisure, In Style, and hundreds of newspapers across the USA, the UK, and Australia. Since 1999, five different Hollywood film companies have produced numerous big-budget television shows in which our tour guides narrated stories from The Ghosts of Charleston with actors and special effects that made them come alive. The History Channel and HGTV created the most popular ones and still broadcast them nationally and internationally; these shows put Charleston supernatural activity on the map. Come walk with us on The Ghosts of Charleston tour. THE BEST TOURS LEAVE FROM THE BOOKSTORE! (Buxton Books-160 King Street). There is no experience like walking enchanted Charleston at night, listening to our singular supernatural stories woven with the history of the story behind the story, and encountering what you will see and hear in the Unitarian Church Graveyard.

What travelers are saying
My family of two adults and two teens all enjoyed this tour! Simon was the absolute best, and he was so knowledgeable and fun to listen to. We would definitely do it again!
Excellent tour! Mark was knowledgeable and interesting. Saw some interesting sights!
The tour was fun and although we did not run into any ghosts, Big Joe's theatrical descriptions took brought the ghost stories to life.
