What your day looks like
Come aboard the newest boat in the harbor, our 2023 All-American Marine Catamaran, Poseidon for the adventure of a lifetime. Cruise along Oahu’s western coastline in search of dolphins on this exciting snorkel adventure. You will have multiple opportunities to jump in the ocean with wild dolphins as they swim by. After swimming with the dolphins, enjoy a complimentary Locally crafted Lunch, Green Tea & Hot Cocoa on our way to our snorkeling destination. Once we are ready, we will head over to the famous snorkel and surf beach, Makaha! Here we will be on the lookout for Hawaiian Green sea turtles, colorful reef fish, and more! You also get to experience several ocean activities like trying out our brand new 21 FT built-in waterslide, Stand-up paddleboarding, a kayak, and a big floating mat to lounge on. Once you are done with the water, you can rinse off and warm up with our ION hot shower on board. This is a fun family event that will be a day to remember for years. View the stunning West Side of Oahu as we make our way along the shoreline. -Keep an eye out for whales (November - March) - Your lunch will be a turkey sandwich unless you specify a different option by 8:00 PM HST the evening before your tour. Please note: There will be no availability from November 1st, 2024 - March 31st, 2025. We have decided not to run this tour during this time and will resume on April 1st, 2025! 1. Waikiki Complimentary Transportation – 5:00 - 6:00 am *If requested* Pick up at Waikiki hotels (See "Pick-up List" for pick-up schedule.) Tour guide confirms all guests and the bus/van departs Waikiki. 2. Depart from the Harbor - The crew will give a safety explanation and pass out snorkel gear 3. Oli - Our tour begins with an ancient Hawaiian chant (Oli) for a safe journey. 4. Search for wild dolphins - We will head offshore in search of wild dolphins such as bottlenose and spotted dolphins 5. Dolphin Swim - You will have multiple opportunities to jump in the ocean with wild dolphins as they swim by 6. Lunch -Enjoy complimentary locally crafted lunch, and beverages. 7. Turtle & Reef Snorkel - We will head to Makaha where the crew will lead you around the reef in search of turtles, fish, and other marine life 8. Enjoy Ocean Activities. - Try out our built-in 21 FT water slide, big floating mat, kayak, and stand-up paddle boards 9. Enjoy views of the Coastline - Take in the beauty of Oahu's west coast as you cruise back to the harbor 10. A Hui Ho!

What to Bring
You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and alcohol. Just please do not bring bananas or glass on the boat.
Restrictions
Please note; The dolphin swimming portion of the tour is fast-paced and recommended only for advanced snorkelers/ swimmers. If you are uncomfortable swimming with the dolphins in the open ocean, you may enjoy them from the boat. Children ages 0-2 will not be allowed to swim with the dolphins. Please take your seasick remedy an hour before your excursion.
Meeting & Pickup
The Cruise port Waianae Small Boat Harbor is located on the west coast of Oahu in Waianae (1 hour from Waikiki). We do offer complimentary pick-up from select hotels in Waikiki and Koolina.. Please note that pick-up starts at 5-6 Am depending on location. Please verify the pickup location using our confirmation link after booking or contact us. If you drive yourself, please arrive 30 minutes prior to the tour time. The crew will check you in and give you an overview of the day. Meet at the two-story building with the orangish roof at 7 AM for check-in. (The restrooms are in this building) Our crew will be wearing "Iruka Hawaii" T-shirts

We saw a pod of 150+ dolphins swimming and surfacing. Awesome. Swam with dolphins in the water but there were few and too deep to see them well. The boat views were great and exciting. The crew tried hard to make it exciting. The snorkeling wasn’t all that good.

The tour was so much fun! We saw a few sea turtles and a lot of spinner dolphins! We weren't able to swim with the spinner dolphins but the guides did an amazing job explaining the dolphins and regulations that Hawaii has for them!

Totally recommend this trip! Captain Henry and his family crew are so genuine and welcoming. Yes if you have children! This grandma went on the trip with my daughter and two granddaughters (ages 10 and 5). The 10 year old jumped right in with her mom as did I. Dolphins were swimming right below us! The 5 year old jumped in, but was terrified, so the crew took her back aboard to watch from the boat. By the end of the trip with encouragement from us and the crew, our 10 year old and (now courageous) 5 year old had ridden the paddle board with mom and sis, floated on the water pad, gone down the slide, held an octopus AND jumped off the top deck with her mom! She was so happy she invited Captain Henry’s grandson Brandon to ALL of her birthdays. The boat was easy for this overweight grandma to climb back into. There were wetsuits for rent. I felt very safe and not anxious for my families safety. Three cheers for this wonderful crew and their boat. We will be back. Mahalo my friends
