The Experience

What your day looks like

An unmissable boat trip, unlike any other in Hawaii! We start the day off with a continental breakfast before journeying northwest to the Napali Coast, a site filled with plenty of stunning natural landscapes such as underwater caves, waterfalls, and lush valleys. Following our visit to the Napali Coast, our next destination is the "Forbidden Island" of Niihau. This is where you will get the chance to snorkel, guided by the crew, or you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy watching the comings and goings of the aquatic world. The longest of all Hawaiian islands, Niihau offers spectacular views because of its unique coastline which has been molded over the centuries by the ocean currents. After snorkeling, gourmet deli-style buffet lunch with a large variety of choices ranging from fresh veggies and deli meats to pasta salad and fruits will be prepared. There will be assorted soft drinks available during the tour with beer and wine being served after snorkeling. During lunch, you will get the chance learn more about Niihau's rich history and culture from our crew.

Restrictions

This is an adventure. Ocean conditions can vary and may occasionally be rough. Our tours can feel similar to a rollercoaster ride on the open ocean and may not be suitable for guests with recent injuries, limited mobility, or certain medical conditions. All guests should be comfortable walking approximately 0.25 miles and boarding the vessel via a gangway. Final participation is subject to captain’s discretion for safety. Tours require a minimum number of passengers to operate. In the unlikely event that the minimum is not met, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Children must be 5 years or older. Non-swimmers are not allowed in the water. Full-face snorkel masks are not allowed; guests are required to use traditional two-piece snorkel and mask sets. If you do not have your prescribed medication with you, i.e. Inhalers, EpiPens, diabetic medication and/or any other daily medications, you must reschedule your tour for another day. No smoking of any kind, including electronic cigarettes. Spray-on/aerosol sunscreen is a safety hazard and may not be used on-board the vessel. We encourage using reef-friendly sunscreens. Groups of 20 or more people will need to be set up as a private charter, and can not book the group tour.

Great time! Food was good, crew was amazing, water very choppy for snorkeling, but still enjoyed it.

This was a rough, long ride on a cataraman. Very difficult to hear over the engine noise anything the captain is saying from inside the cabin, which I felt was the safest place to be. Also, it feels like he has said the commentary so many times that his speed rate of speech not really understandable. Really not much to look at along the shoreline until you get to the NaPali Coast, which is over the top spectacular landscape. Husband enjoyed the snorkeling near Niihue, however the ride across the channel back to Port Allen was brutal.

Very seaworthy boat and great crew. Some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done in Hawaii.
