The Experience
What your day looks like
We offer an awesome horseback riding experience in Hawaii. We owned and operated by a small Hawaiian family that has more than 30 years experience of in horseback riding, hospitality, and guided trail ride business in the state. This adventure is held on privately owned land. The horses trek through botanical landscapes as well as lush green hills on an operating ranch, with epic scenic views of Mauna Kea to the Pacific Ocean, as well as some waterfall lookouts to view along the ride. Guests will enjoy a stop at a waterfall and have an opportunity to get off their horse, have a snack break and enjoy the waters. This ride is a great ride for all skill levels. No horseback riding experience needed to join our tour. Guides (wranglers) will narrate the tour with a cultural history of the land they ride on, as well as learning of the paniolo style of riding. Guests will also learn about the different species of native plants, trees, and fruit trees, while on the ride.

Detailed Itinerary
The journey, in full
- 1.75 hours of saddle time on the horse and a 45-minute waterfall break to swim (optional). - Picnic “snack break” and paddleboard. There are restrooms at the waterfall break. - A brief demonstration of the basics of horseback riding will be given to all guests prior to the guests mounting their horses. Then all will head out and enjoy the ride.

Meet at our barn /stable front. 31-313 Old Mamalahoa, Hwy. Hakalau, Hawaii, 96710 Next door to the Umauma Experience Zipline. We have our own driveway and entrance. A minute away. Check-in 15 Minutes prior to tour time.

The people are so nice and knowledgeable. It is so beautiful everywhere, and especially the falls. Go for a swim but the water is fed by the mountain so it's cold. Not as much as a polar plunge, but chilly. I would highly recommend this tour.
