Experience the Infamous Stick Marsh, a man-made body of water home to Florida’s trophy largemouth bass. It is an anglers paradise that is fun for both or the family. Cast a line and hold on for a bass fishing adventure of a lifetime! The Stick Marsh or known to many anglers as Farm 13, is a 6,500-acre impoundment located along the east coast of Central Florida. Part of the northwest Indian River County, it was created in 1987 as part of the St. Johns River Water Management Area. Trophy largemouth bass can be caught all year round. Knowledgeable Captains are essential as the Marsh has man-made and natural hazards that can do damage to your boat. These hazards like the stumps are what hold and help harvest the abundant population of largemouth. Your tour is guided by a professionally licensed captain that operates in a 21-foot boat. All the equipment is included such as rods and reels (both left and right handed) and artificial lures that you can use and lose at your pleasure. We also are ready and equipped for any emergency at hand. The tour includes fishing instructions and casting lessons for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. This fishing adventure lasts for 8-hours with options to start at 7 am or 2 pm, but it is flexible to your schedule depending on availability. While you are out on the water, all the boats have coolers on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated while reeling in fish. There's plenty of space to bring snacks, lunch and your favorite beverage. Alcohol beverages in cans are preferred but all alcohol is permitted.
