The journey, in full
Our daily Join-in wine tours are designed to show you a picture-perfect day in the Napa Valley or Sonoma region wine country, covering pretty much all the bases. This is a really fun and social way to see a hand-picked selection of backroads wineries that you probably wouldn’t find on your own. This tends to be a very social, yet civilized tour. You’ll board a small-group shuttle, usually with eight to twelve wine-interested adventurers on board, visiting an ever-changing selection of smaller, intimate wineries – ideal for individual travelers, couples, and small groups of friendly people. Your guide/driver will point out notable landmarks and wineries along the way. You’ll tour a winery, take in some extraordinary views of Napa Valley, maybe stroll through the vines, get a flavor of wine country history, hear stories and learn about winemaking. This is not a boilerplate tour – it’s different every day, it’s informative and it’s fun!

Winery tasting fees (usually, these fees are waived with wine purchase) Gratuities for the tour guide (Groups of 5 or more traveling together are considered a large party and will be charged a 20% gratuity for the guide at the end of the tour).
Meeting & Pickup
We pick up at most local area hotels, please let us know where you are staying. We can also meet you at a pre-arranged public place that has parking. Our meeting place is in downtown Napa located at 600 Main Street (along the riverfront). Please arrive 15 min before starts the tour.

We loved Tony! He was a great guide, told good informative stories. The last stop was a bust, Don Ernesto. Our host was a young kid named Jake. He was super laid-back, didn’t seem to care much and didn’t seem very interested in the wines We had a great time, no complaints. That bus is busted though! You all need to upgrade, was that thing from the 80s?!

This tour is advertised on PE as a Maximum of 8 people. However, there ware more than 8 people on this tour and the transportation accommodated at least 24 people. This needs to be addressed and remedied ASAP to reflect true capacities. The driver was great. He was engaging and had lots of knowledge of Napa to offer. The pours were very very minimal at the first two vineyards. Barely enough to even get a taste of the wine. Whether this is because the tour guarantees a reduced rate for the tastings or this is really how some of these wineries minimize their tastings, I am not sure. But one vineyard actually mentioned the tastings are usually 75.00 and this tour was given a reduced rate for 25.00.That comment felt a bit petty. But paying 75.00 for 4 swallows of wine is outrageous. The third vineyard poured the normal amount, which was appreciated. These clients booked their own tastings following this tour and they noted how much more wine they were able to taste when they booked on their own vs. this tour.
