The journey, in full
Our small group guided Sonoma wine tours are organized Join-In style, so on this tour, you’ll share your day with a few other friends, wine-interested travelers. This will be an intimate, yet social and lighthearted journey through the Sonoma Valley. We’ll show you three charming, small to medium-sized wineries (many of which are still family-owned), with a upbeat and well informed tour guide. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a very tasty picnic lunch and have the opportunity to taste some wonderful wines. Our Sonoma Wine Tours tend to be a very social and lively outing. You’ll travel in a small tour shuttle, with about 8 to 12 adventurers, visiting a variety of small to medium-sized wineries. This is ideal for solo travelers, couples, and small groups of friendly people. Your knowledgeable tour guide/ driver will point out notable landmarks and wineries along the way and offer tidbits of local history, culture, and winemaking. You can expect to take in some lovely views of the Sonoma Valley, and be toured through some of the production areas and the vines of one or more of the wineries. This is not a rote tour – it’s a different serendipitous experience every day; always fun and informative.

What travelers are saying
Highly recommended!!!
The platypus wine tour was amazing. This was probably our favorite day. Our driver, Casey, was fantastic. Super friendly and knowledgeable. He made everyone really comfortable and had great suggestions of wineries and photo ops. We had so much fun visiting all the wineries and learning so much about wine. Casey took us to Imagery, Loxton, Wellington and JVB. JVB is the sister winery to Wellington and we happen to be running so early that we asked if we could do one more and Casey made it happen. It was so good. I would highly recommend platypus and all the wineries we went too. Also the lunch that was included was delicious. It was better than your average box lunch.
Would have liked to be shown the process of turning the grapes into wine. Even if it was done by film.
Enjoyed the scenery, the guide was very informative
The clients LOVED their tour. Everything was professionally handled and the winery options were fantastic.
Sam was a fantastic guide. I will definitely take this tour again then next time I'm in Sonoma.
The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the wineries were beautiful with delicious products!
