Originally home to Irish, German, and Italian immigrants, the Mission District is now the epicenter of San Francisco's Latino culture. On our tour, you'll sample some of the best Mission-style burritos, trendy tacos, pan dulce, Cuban specialties, and of course our mysterious Secret Dish! Our local guides will take you to off-the-beaten-path eateries as well as some popular spots to show you the true flavor of the Mission District. We begin by taking you to the best taqueria for a Mission-style burrito. Next, we bring the heart of Mexico to your table, serving a Quesabirria. No stop to the Mission District would be complete without tasting traditional sweet bread. We source ours from a well-loved, 65-year-old bakery. You'll enjoy mariquitas, a snack widely recognized as one of the best street foods in Cuba. We will visit a small San Francisco-owned small-batch bean-to-bar craft chocolate maker for a sweet treat! (Hint: it's not Ghirardelli).
