What your day looks like
On our tour, you'll experience all the city's biggest food hits. Many of the dishes we'll enjoy date back over 150 years and are truly iconic Chicago cuisine. We'll begin our journey visiting the Harold Washington library next as you bask in the majesty of the city's Postmodern cathedral of books. Did someone say Oprah? At our next stop, you'll discover one of her "favorite things" - freshly popped gourmet popcorn! After which, it's time to devour a classic Chicago-style hotdog topped with all the fixings. (No ketchup allowed!) Sears or Willis? It depends on who you ask! Discover our delicious Secret Dish inside what used to be the world's tallest building. Of course, no visit to Chicago would be complete without sampling our famous Italian Beef sandwich. It’s now time for a slice of deep dish pizza, a marvel of flavor and engineering. And, finally, did you know that the brownie was invented here? Restrictions
No gluten free, no vegan. There are steps to get into the first stop on the Chicago tour, the rest of the stops have accessible entrances and elevators available. Stroller accessible (if parents are willing to carry the stroller up a flight of stairs at one of the stops).
Meeting & Pickup
We will meet at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, 805 S State St, Chicago, IL 60605. Our guide will be waiting for you with an orange umbrella for easy recognition.
