Hear the history of Frenchman Bay, Samuel de Champlain who was a French explorer who visited and charted the area in 1604, and how the Brits battled here. And it's an amazing view. As you drive you'll hear the stories of the trails and also be given tips and info on each trail you pass, Cadillac North Ridge Trail Parking leads to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, a popular trail. You'll see many overlooks and hear the story of what you are seeing with insights into the park and area. You'll see the view of the harbor and learn why it's called egg rock, and the story of the bay. Hike and explore the natural setting and get insights on where to walk, what to see, and the history of the land. Want an adventure? This trail is not for all, but the birds you'll learn about are for everyone! and the view of the rocks is amazing. One of the many amazing views you'll get in the park and you'll learn the history of its founding. This is one big loop that is the main drag on the tour and takes you to all the major sites. As you drive you'll hear the stories of each stop, what to see, and insights as you drive. Learn about Beavers and why they hit their tales. You'll also hear about the beautiful pond, the animals in it, and the people who created the park. You'll have an option to stop and explore this trail that runs off of the main path. Great walk! Pull into one of the larger parking lots and listen to the extended story of the area. Learn about the stars, the beach, and where to explore. Boom! This is a must-see. Stop at the gift shop, cross over to Thunder Hole, and learn why it's got the thunder! Want a forest hike? This is for you! You'll hear why to stop here and where to park. This secluded hidden gem is not on everyone's radar, and that is good for you! You'll see where to stop to find this amazing spot. Stop off at the cliffs and learn about the climbers and get one of the best views, an amazing spot. Learn how this spot changed the world during World War 1 and the history of the world. See the historic house, explore the yard, and just nearby is the Jordan pond and trail to hike. You'll see the Bubble Rock from the car way up and where to park at the trailhead to hike to it. And you'll hear the story of the rock and the Acadians. As you drive you'll hear where to stop for Bubble Pond and what to see there. Check out Eagle Lake from one of the best spots, the overlook. See where to park and what you can and can't do there. The tour ends just near Cadillac Summit Road, you do need reservations to drive up and those can be booked at the NPS websites.
