Alpine Dawn & Breakfast: The journey begins with a light breakfast as we move into the field to capture the first light hitting the frost-covered Teton peaks. Morning Field Observation: A dedicated search through the park’s winter corridors for moose, bison, coyotes, and bald eagles congregating near open water and sage flats. Local Culinary Break: Mid-day, enjoy a warm lunch at a local restaurant to recharge for the afternoon’s tracking. National Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride: (Seasonal) A horse-drawn sleigh takes you directly into the massive elk herd for an unparalleled, close-range perspective on these majestic animals. All guests are picked up and returned to their place of lodging. Pickup is available at hotels and condos in Jackson and Teton Village. Your exact pickup time is determined by your hotel location and the season. Please note your pickup time and keep it for reference. Be ready in the hotel lobby a few minutes before pickup and allow an additional 5–10 minutes in case the guide is delayed. Changes to trip timing may be made to accommodate daylight and optimal wildlife viewing conditions.
