Local Flavors & Island Sights: Are you a foodie and also want to see the best scenic sights of O’ahu? This tour is designed for those of you who love sampling the local foods and want to visit the stunning vistas, beaches, mountains, and wildlife. Hawaii is the only state that grows pineapple, coffee, and cacao. When you book this Oahu food tour, you will not only go on a culinary journey, but you will also learn the history and cultural connection of the places we visit and the food we eat. Our morning begins with the iconic Malasada, a Portuguese donut made to order. We drive along the East Side, stopping at dramatic vistas and beaches. We experience a chocolate tasting of Hawaiian cacao and learn about the many varieties. We continue our sightseeing to the Byodo-In temple and North Shore where we stop for lunch at one of the food trucks for a Hawaiian plate lunch of garlic shrimp, chicken, or pork (vegetarian options available). If you would rather eat at a restaurant on the beach, we got that covered too. After lunch, we tour north surfing beaches and look for the Hawaiian green sea turtle who may be out basking. We’ll finish the day with your choice of Hawaiian shave ice, Hawaiian chocolate, Dole whip, or Greenworld coffee farm.
