Through a premier partnership between Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris and Solitude Float Trips, this is the only expedition that combines a scenic river float with a professional wildlife safari entirely within the park boundaries. As the heat of the day fades, the park’s inhabitants emerge from the shadows of the Teton Range. This tour is designed to capture the "crepuscular" peak—the time when moose, elk, and predators are most active. By combining a serene river perspective with high-mobility land tracking, you will experience the full spectrum of the park’s waterways and terrestrial wilderness.

The journey, in full
Twilight River Float: The adventure begins on the Snake River. Drift past ancient cottonwoods and gravel bars as the evening light paints the Teton peaks. We search for bald eagles, ospreys, beavers, and river otters active along the banks. The Evening Bugle: During late summer and fall, experience the haunting sound of bull elk bugling from the riverbanks as they prepare for the rut. Overland Wildlife Pursuit: After the float, transition into a specialized safari vehicle. Utilizing high-powered optics, we track moose in the willow stands, grazing bison, and bears foraging in the cool evening air. Meeting & Pickup
All guests are picked up and returned to their place of lodging. Pickup is available at hotels and condos in Jackson and Teton Village. Your exact pickup time depends on your hotel location and the season. Please note your pickup time and keep it for reference. Be ready in the hotel lobby a few minutes before pickup and allow an additional 5–10 minutes in case the guide is delayed. Changes to trip timing may be made to accommodate daylight and optimal wildlife viewing conditions.
