She was nicknamed the Pearl Harbor Avenger, so it is fitting that her permanent home is at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i. 30 Minutes: Lunch at Pearl Harbor - Lunch is not included on this Tour, Options 1. Cafe at Aviation Museum. 2 Hours: USS Battleship Missouri - Visit the battleship USS Missouri—lovingly known as the "Mighty Mo".  After fighting in the last year of the war with Japan, Mighty Mo served as the location where Japan would sign the official surrender documents. In addition to the historical significance, Mighty Mo offers a look at what life at sea was like aboard a battleship. 1 Hour: Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum - Housed in an authentic World War II-era hangar, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum’s Hangar 37 is home to the artifacts of our collection that tell the story of the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor and beyond. The Museum’s theatre offers complementary viewings of its award-winning 12-minute documentary, “East Wind Rain” every 15 minutes upon arrival. This 80,000 square foot maintenance and engine repair facility also withstood the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, as evidenced by the blue glass windows riddled with bullet holes left by the battle. During World War II it was a maintenance and engine repair facility, filled with fighters, bombers, and patrol aircraft that were based in Pearl Harbor or en route to the front lines.
