Escape to another Hawaiian island for a day on this all-inclusive tour. Hop on an inter-island flight from Oahu to Hilo on Hawaii Island for a once-in-a-lifetime, comprehensive Volcano Adventure tour. Discover the source of Hawaii Island’s creation and witness ancient craters at the sprawling Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Peer into the depths of Halema’uma’u Crater which has remarkably doubled in size since the recent 2018 eruption that drastically altered the island’s landscape. Watch steam clouds form as groundwater seeps into hot volcanic rock at the famous Steam Vents. Drive down the scenic Chain of Craters Road and gaze at sweeping views where older lava flows occurred. Along the way hike through Thurston Lava Tube located in a tropical forest area featuring a long, subterranean cave formed by ancient flowing lava. Visit Akaka Falls State Park, located along the northeastern Hilo Coast, you can see two gorgeous waterfalls. The pleasant 0.4-mile uphill hike will take you through a lush rainforest filled with wild orchids, bamboo groves, and draping ferns. Drive through the formerly tsunami-stricken city of Hilo and down Banyan Drive and drive past Liliuokalani Park and Gardens on this comprehensive volcano adventure tour. MUST have a passport or Government-issued photo identification to board flights. Adult passengers 18 and over must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel. Acceptable identifications are listed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Meeting & Pickup
(Oahu) Honolulu Airport Please check in at the airlines Ticket Counter at least 1 hour prior to your flight. Please make sure to check in for all flights (round trip). Please proceed to the designated gate. Guest Responsibility: It is the guests' responsibility to arrange transportation to and from their original destination airport. Pickup: Once guests arrive at the island they are touring, they are picked up directly from that airport. Actual time will be provided once flights have been secured. Return: Upon completion of the tour, guests are dropped off back at the airport for their return flight. Please note: There are no Polynesian Adventure team members inside the airport to assist with airline check-in.

I loved the land tour, however, at the bottom of this tour when going to choose it, it shows inclusions of airfare and a 45 minute helicopter ride. My husband and I were very disappointed and upset this wasn't actually included.

The tour guide was great and seeing the Hawaii Volcano NP was great. The second half of the tour though seemed repetitive driving by the same sites multiple times.
