What your day looks like
Fly from Oahu to Hilo for a One Day Volcano Adventure tour getaway where you’ll see Hawaii’s only active volcanoes and cascading waterfalls during an exciting helicopter tour. Then our expert driver-guide will show you the Big Island’s best sites during a remarkable sightseeing tour. Our One Day Combo Tour offers a 45-minute round-trip tour aboard a Helicopter where you’ll soar over areas experiencing the most recent volcanic activity and view the Hawaii Volcanoes, National Park. On the scenic, historical and cultural land tour, you’ll enjoy live narration by your expert driver-guide. All passengers will be weighed during check-in at the heliport, in compliance with FAA requirements which ensures the accurate aircraft weight and balance. Passengers over 240 pounds will be allotted two seats and will be responsible for the additional cost of 50% for a second seat. Guests are advised to not bring large or heavy bags on the flight. For best picture-taking and views during the helicopter ride, wear darker colors to reduce window reflection.

Please note that the actual start time of each trip will depend on the flight we are able to secure for your selected date (approx flight time 6:00 am). You will be provided with your flight information when you receive your confirmation, and are expected to arrive at the airport for check-in at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled flight time. Restrictions
Passengers must clear TSA at the Honolulu Airport, so please bring a passport or valid ID. Passengers over 240 pounds will be allotted two seats and will be responsible for the additional cost $199.50 for a second seat. Guests are advised to not bring large or heavy bags on the flight.
Meeting & Pickup
(Oahu) Honolulu Airport Please check in at the airlines Ticket Counter at least 1 hour prior to your flight. Please make sure to check in for all flights (round trip). Please proceed to the designated gate. Please note: There are no Polynesian Adventure team members inside the airport to assist with airline check-in. Guest Responsibility: It is the guests' responsibility to arrange transportation to and from their original destination airport. After landing in Hilo, please proceed directly to Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and check in under your name. Airport staff can assist with directions to the heliport area if needed. After the helicopter tour, your driver will pick you up at the Blue Hawaiian heliport for the sightseeing portion of your Volcano Adventure. For reservations without the helicopter, the pickup is as follows: Hilo Airport Pickup Instructions After arrival at Hilo Airport, proceed to the Bus Group/Taxi area at the west end of Baggage Claim near the restrooms. Meet at 8:00 AM and look for a vehicle marked “Polynesian Adventure.”

In order to secure your flights and communicate the necessary info prior to your tour the following information is REQUIRED. 1. Full name, birthdate, & gender that matches your official ID/passport for each traveler Full Name: Last, First - Middle Name Date of Birth: January 01, 2019 Gender: Male / Female 2. An email address and phone number for one member in the group that we can send a final confirmation to 72-48 hours prior to your tour date, and share with the drivers to get in contact with your group upon your arrival to the airport in Hilo. * Adult passengers 18 and over must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel. Acceptable identifications are listed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
