The journey, in full

This tour tours much of Manhattan while showing you specific locations from television series and movies that are the main focus of this tour. As a result, families, and friends often find this tour to be an ideal way to get around the city! Although the tour does not go to prominent places in Manhattan such as the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building, you will visit neighborhoods such as Greenwich Village, Chelsea, SoHo and TriBeca. Times Square The experience begins in the heart of New York City: Times Square. See where Kimmy and Titus sing with all their might in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). Pass the famous stairs where the cast of Glee sang a cover of "I Love New York / New York, New York" in the season 2 finale, and where Jamie introduced the word "Flash Mob" to Dylan in Friends with Benefits (Friends with Benefits - in Latin America / With the Right to Touch - in Spain). Then stop by the bar where Michael Keaton drinks after his performance in Birdman (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). Columbus Circle & Central Park South As you move on to Columbus Circle, you'll see famous buildings like The Time Warner Center and Trump International, home to some of the most expensive real estate in the country. With appearances in films such as Tower Heist (Robo en las Alturas - in Latin America / Un Golpe de Altura - in Spain), Enchanted (Encantada - in Latin America / Encantada, The Story of Giselle - in Spain) and Ghostbusters (Ghostbusters), Columbus Circle is an important New York place not to be missed. As you continue your tour of Central Park South, you can take a look at the locations that have served as the foundation for several of the latest and greatest projects in the industry. See the most filmed building in the world, The Plaza Hotel, which appears in movies like American Hustle (The American Scandal - in Latin America / The Great American Scam - in Spain), The Great Gatsby, Bride Wars Girlfriends), Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (My Poor Little Angel 2: Lost in New York - in Latin America / Home Alone 2: Lost in New York - in Spain), and Crocodile Dundee (Crocodile Dundee). The Oak Room Bar at the Plaza Hotel served as the location for the Hitchcock movie North by Northwest (Intrigue International - in Latin America / With Death on His Heels - in Spain) and was also seen in the last season of the Mad Men series. In front of the hotel is the beautiful Pulitzer Fountain that was replicated to appear in the opening credits of Friends and where Blair and Serena dance in Gossip Girl (Indiscrete Girl - in Latin America / La Reina Cotilla - in Spain) . Upper East Side & Fabulous Fifth Avenue Don't miss the famous filming locations on the upscale Upper East Side featured in the funniest comedies in New York City. See Barney's store, where Elaine from Seinfeld buys a dress, only to realize she looks horrible in it. Then see the Pierre Hotel where Monica and Chandler get married in the Friends series. Continue your adventure and you will be able to see the famous Fifth Avenue shops that have appeared in several movies. Moving down Fifth Avenue, the NYC TV & Movie tour goes through another Trump Tower that you will recognize as the Wayne Companies in The Dark Knight (Batman: The Night Knight - in Latin America / The Dark Knight - in Spain). Next, you will see the Hotel St. Regis that appears in The Devil Wears Prada (El Diablo dresses in Fashion - in Latin America / El Diablo dresses in Prada - in Spain), Taxi Driver and Miss Congeniality (Miss Sympathy - in Latin America / Miss Special Agent - in Spain). Not to be missed is the Rockefeller Center, home to NBC Studios, where The Tonight Show, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show are recorded and countless television shows and movies. Recently in Marvel's Daredevil, there is an intense scene between Fisk and Madame Gao in the same roof garden where Spider-Man arrives with Mary Jane in Spider-Man. See the New York Public Library, recording location for Ghostbusters, Ted 2, 13 Going on 30 (If I were 30 - in Latin America / The Dream of my Life - in Spain), Sex and The City: The Movie (Sex in the City - in Latin America / Sex in New York - in Spain) and take advantage of seeing the Empire State Building that appears in King Kong, Sleepless in Seattle (Sintonía de Amor - in Latin America / Something to Remember - in Spain) and An Affair to Remember (Something to Remember - in Latin America / You and Me - in Spain). Flatiron District and Washington Square Park The journey continues as you get closer to the Flatiron Building, which you will recognize having seen in movies like Spider-Man (Spider-Man), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Ninja Turtles), and in the scene of The Other Guys (Policemen) de Spare - in Latin America / The Other Two - in Spain) when Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson jump off the roof. In front is Madison Square Park where Ron Burgundy has the final battle of the news teams in Anchorman 2 (To Hell with the News - in Latin America / Los Amos de la Noticia 2 - in Spain). You can also recognize this park by movies like I am Legend (The Legend), The Adjustment Bureau (The Agents of Destiny - in Latin America / Hidden Fate - in Spain) and Something Borrowed (Don't take my Boyfriend - in Latin America / Something Borrowed - in Spain). Our first stop on the tour is one of New York's most famous attractions: Washington Square Park. Here they were filmed Glee, The Mindy Project (Project Mindy), Don Jon (A Daring Don Juan - in Latin America / His Hands - in Argentina / Don Jon - in Spain), Blue Bloods (Family Police) and many other movies and television series. Around the corner, you can see the Comedy Cellar where Louie performs at Louie and McDonald's where Julian demands breakfast at Big Daddy. Tribeca The Tribeca area is famous for its annual film festival founded by Robert De Niro, but it is also a great location for filming. Your tour guide will accompany you to take a photo at the Hook & Ladder 8 of the New York Fire Department, a place known as the Ghostbusters Fire Station, which can also be seen at Hitch (Hitch: Specialist in Seduction - in Latin America / Hitch: Specialist in Ligues - in Spain) and Seinfeld. Greenwich Village, the Meatpacking District In Greenwich Village, your guide will take you off the grid, literally into a maze of hundred-year-old houses and cobblestone streets. You will arrive at a familiar place, perfect for taking a photo outside the apartment building where Monica, Chandler, Joey and Rachel from Friends lived. In the Meatpacking District, you will see the Standard Hotel where the Boom Boom Room that appears in Gossip Girl (Indiscrete Girl - in Latin America / La Reina Cotilla - in Spain) and The High Line, one of the newest parks in New York that appears in Hitch (Hitch: Specialist in Seduction - in Latin America / Hitch: Specialist in Ligues - in Spain), GIRLS (Girls) and The Mysteries of Laura (Los Misterios de Laura). High up is The Highline Hotel, whose grounds were frequently used as the fictional "Hudson University" in Law and Order SVU (Law and Order: Special Victims Unit - in Latin America / Law and Order: Special Victims - in Spain). Chelsea As you move through Chelsea you will see the Empire Diner that appears in Men In Black II and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (Mi Pobre Angelito 2: Perdido en Nueva York - en Latinoamérica / Solo en Casa 2: Perdido in New York - in Spain). Stop by the Star on 18 Diner where Abbi and Ilana recover after having been out all night in Broad City. Also, watch Chelsea TV studios where The Wendy Williams Show and The Rachael Ray Show are recorded. Midtown Coming to Midtown, you will find the famous Macy's store in Herald Square that has been featured in favorite Christmas movies like Miracle on 34th Street (Miracle on 34th Street - in Latin America / Miracle in the City - in Spain) and Elf (Elf, El Elf). See the Time-Life Building featured in Mad Men as the new Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce office. You'll catch a glimpse of Seinfeld 's original “Al's Soup Kitchen” and the Bank of America tower that becomes “Atlantis World Media” in the HBO series The Newsroom. Also, enter the world of Daredevil from Marvel on Eighth Avenue at the 50th Street subway station where "Foggy" Nelson makes a desperate call to a friend of the New York City Police Department. The NYC TV & Movie Tour ends at McGee's Pub, the inspiration for MacLaren's Pub from the series How I Met Your Mother (How I Met Your Mother - in Latin America / How I Met Your Mother - in Spain) where you will have the opportunity taking photos, enjoying a drink or dining at the place that inspired the “bromance” or sibling relationship between Barney, Ted and Marshall.

The tour is conducted on an enclosed coach bus, it is heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer

Not Included

Gratuities are not included in the price of the tour ticket. A tip for exemplary service is always appreciated but never required. No food or drinks are served on the tour, but you can feel free to bring something of your own if it is neat and you’re sure to remove all garbage from the bus at the end of the tour.

Wear comfortable walking shoes Some of the tour takes place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather Feel free to bring a camera to capture your favorite locations on film

Restrictions

Buses are not equipped with lap or shoulder belts or harnesses. Alcohol is prohibited. The tour is conducted on a coach bus, so limited storage space is available. Please keep in mind that there will be several stops of up to 15-20 minutes each where we will be leaving the bus. If you are not comfortable leaving your belongings on the bus during this time, you might want to reconsider bringing them. We also have storage under the bus if needed. Videotaping is not allowed on the bus.
