Experience Maui's top-rated whale watch aboard the Mauis newest eco-friendly sailing vessel, Ocean Spirit. Ocean Spirit is a state-of-the-art catamaran offering luxury, space, and comfort for a maximum capacity of 65 passengers. The tour is led by certified Marine Naturalists for fun and informative interpretation of humpback whale behaviors and characteristics. We sail when possible depending on weather conditions or whale activity and may need to use our engines for the safety of the animals, in accordance with our Be Whale Aware policies for safe and sustainable humpback whale viewing. Whale sightings are guaranteed or go again free on another whale watch of equal or lesser value within one year. We are proud of our 97% sighting success rate.

This morning we went whale watching and all I can say is WOW!!! What an amazing experience. That was probably one of the best experiences of my life. We saw 4 mommas with their calves. We got to watch one momma teaching the calf how to breach the water. We saw 2 or 3 full breaches from very large males. We got to hear them singing. 10/10 was the best way to spend our morning.

This whale watch was awesome. We were there in December during the peak season to sea the whales. Our guides were marine biologists are very passionate about their jobs. We had a whale swim up to out boat and surface about 20 feet beside us. We also saw many different whales and behaviors that our guides were explaining based on their research and knowledge. At the end of the trip, we stopped so that we could drop a microphone into the ocean to listen to the whale songs. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui.
